One of the chief metropolitan cities in India is Chennai. The city is famous for its ethnic culture and temple architecture. Mamallapuram, Rippon Building, Parry’s corner and Tidal Park are some of the monuments that show the greatness of city’s architectural richness. The Marina Beach in Chennai is considered as the second largest city beach in the world. It begins near Fort St. George in the north to Besant Nagar in the south, a distance of about 12km. It serves as one of the major tourist spot in the country. City centre, Spencer plaza, Satyam cinemas are some of the other happening places in Chennai. If it is shopping, then one must visit T.Nagar Ranganathan Street. More than hundreds of malls are located in this area and the street looks jam packed always. M.A Chidambaram stadium and Jawaharlal Nehru stadium are some of the major venues where international sporting events would take place. If you get a chance to visit Chennai then don’t forget to visit the places that I mentioned in this post. Have a wonderful journey ahead!!!
